Douglas C. Yearley (1936-2007)
His friends and colleagues at The Copper Club extend their deepest sympathy to the family of Doug Yearley. A prodigious force in our industry for decades, and our Copper Man of the Year in 1993, we honor his life and thank him for his many contributions.

Copper Club's Kennedy To Receive Lifetime Achievement Award
The Copper Club announced today that Thomas J. Kennedy, its president for the past 25 years, will be given the club's Ankh Award for Lifetime Achievement, for his active leadership in the organization and his contributions to the copper industry over a more than 50-year career.

Copper Club Names Phelps Dodge's Whisler as Man of the Year
J. Steven Whisler, chairman and chief executive officer of Phelps Dodge Corp., will receive The Copper Club's Ankh Award naming him The Copper Man of the Year 2007.
